Op de locatie waar jarenlang de ‘Burgemeester van de Denneweg’, Ron Goedvolk met zijn vrouw Ariane de ’s-Gravenhaagsche Eet- en Drinkinrichting heeft gerund opent deze opnieuw haar deuren. Horeca ondernemer en chef-kok Marcel van der Kleijn - Calla’s 1 Michelinster, BIT Grill & Café, Tapisco en Oogst (beide BIB Gourmand Michelin) - vond het jammer dat het pand aan de overkant bij Oogst al enige tijd leeg stond.
Als jongste executive chefkok ooit bij Des Indes kent hij de Denneweg en Buurtschap centrum 2005 op zijn duimpje. Zo ook het karakteristieke hoekpand, the place to be van toute la Haye, van Ron Goedvolk en zijn vrouw Ariane.
Het interieur is gerestyled tot een authentieke, laagdrempelige ambiance met een sfeervolle setting voor de gasten.
Het terras in de Hooistraat en de Vos in Tuinstraat zal direct een ouderwetse levendige en bruisende sfeer creëren.
Er wordt een kleine, toegankelijke kaart voor de lunch, borrel en diner geserveerd. Geïnspireerd op de buurtfunctie zullen er eenvoudige, in perfectie uitgevoerde, smaakvolle gerechten op de kaart komen.
Van een rijke salade uit eigen tuin steak tartaar voor de lunch tot oesters en dungesneden Duroc ham voor de borrel. In de avond kun je terecht voor een lekker menu en enkele klassiekers.
