It is unlikely that there is such a beautiful forest so close to Hilversum. If you do the step walk, you will avoid the busy cycle paths

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Erg mooi bos. Ik zocht de oude beuk waar ik 45 jaar geleden onder speelde. Hij was er nog. Het is erg fijn wandelen hier.
Very nice forest. I was looking for the old beech I played under 45 years ago. He was still there. It is very nice to walk here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijke plek om te wandelen. Honden kunnen mee alleen moeten die wel aangelijnd worden in verband met de begrazers die er rond lopen.
Wonderful place to walk. Dogs can only come along if they are leashed in connection with the grazers walking around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig bos en vooral in het midden tussen Hilversum en Hollandse Rading heerlijk rustig. Er lopen ook diverse wandelroutes door heen die goed aangegeven zijn door paaltjes.
Beautiful forest and especially in the middle between Hilversum and Hollandse Rading wonderfully quiet. There are also various walking routes that are well marked by posts.
