DE PIJP + GRAHAM'S KITCHEN
A short tram ride (tram 4) from Centraal Station takes you directly into one of the most cosmopolitan and vibrant districts of Amsterdam, the area known as “De Pijp”.
Formerly a working class quarter built to ease the overpopulated “Jordaan" in the 19th century and to house labourers,
De Pijp as Amsterdammers know it today is, without doubt, a melting pot of cultures, nationalities and urban beauty.
The young & old, students, artists, professionals and families have all chosen to make De Pijp their happy home.
Graham’s Kitchen is nestled perfectly into this idyllic area. Close to the Amstel River and the Sarphatipark, the restaurant is just a short walk from Van Woustraat and is situated on the corner of Hemonystraat and Tweede Jan Steenstraat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Without doubt one of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam, GK is nestled on a corner of a gorgeous de Pijp street.
The food is both delicious & authentic and the attention to detail is on display from Entree to Dessert.
Graham and his team are dedicated to creating the perfect experience for their guests!

Waitresses excellent.. anticipating what you need before you even ask. Yes I have already recommended it to all my friends and I'm going back again soon.

- The food was surprising with unusual but delicious combinations of flavours (see kiwi cucumber sorbet on the photo).
- They were able to sublime simple ingredients, my favourite dish was a tomato salad with a perfect marinade and basil mousse
- The menu was well balanced across the different courses.
- Good selection of wines, which you get to taste first.
- I appreciated the chef personally presenting the menu to every table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Innovative and fun - but also really delicious. It's experimental but still prioritises taste. Well suited for a long and chatty evening. Recommend at least four courses. The Langoustine and Stinking Bishop are to be particularly recommended. Great service.
