★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice enough bar near the center of Alkmaar. Place is big, and staff are nice enough. During our visit some kind of TV show for a local network was being taped there. Nothing really special though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a group of international artist (around ten people) meeting up after building an exhibition in Groote Kerk (wednesday 23 oct after 18 o´clock). Some colleagues arrived later than the others, some left earlier. A colleague asked about their tap beers, an arrogant young male waiter´s answer was "I just explained to that lady the same thing" and refused to answer the question. When some colleagues wanted to leave, they were not allowed to pay their part separately. This was very rude, no need to go back.
