Het woord ‘gustatio’ komt uit het Latijn en verwijst naar de eerste gang van de maaltijd. De eigenaren zijn een familie uit Rome met veel ervaring in het toerisme en horeca.
Ons menu is gebaseerd op de Italiaanse klassiekers zoals Carbonara, Amatriciana, Ragù alla Bolognese.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being Italian, I can say that Gustatio is a real Italian restaurant, we went there with our little daughter and they perfectly followed our requests, she definitely enjoyed her pasta al pesto at the fullest.
I really appreciated the pasta alla norma! Very tasty and special! Well done

The staff was awesome the mood was relaxed it was a perfect place to have a nice flavourful meal to end my week and start my week end.
I would recommend this place to anyone, that’s how good it was. For once I can say I left a restaurant in Groningen feeling like it was worth the experience. I can’t wait to go back and try their latest special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is really nice, a lot of different Italian pastas to choose from. The service was perfect, it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they even put a candle in the dessert, super lovely. I would recommend for a special occasion, make sure to reserve as the restaurant is quite small.

Me and my husband ate here like 2 weeks ago and the food was as always beyond delicious.. the owner recommended us a wine that went perfectly with my dish… and I haven’t even get to dessert which was amaaziing! I’ve never been in Italy, but I’m pretty sure it must feel like been at Gustatio! Super recommend it!

Cozy and intimate dining room with about 10 tables. The atmosphere is unassuming, serving as the perfect backdrop for a superb meal

The food was striking. The flavors were masterfully tuned into a rich and beautiful medley. I ordered the daily special, pappardelle with boar - A M A Z I N G!
Service: 5/5
The service was impressive. One person was taking care of the entire front of house and she deserves an award. She did everything, from checking vaccination cards, assigning tables, taking food orders, delivering food, busing tables and more. She did all with gusto and a radiant smile
