Had the Hamburger which was nice but also the other dishes at the table looked and tasted very nice.
Will be back for diner sometime.

β β β β β Guulke has a vintage atmosphere, recalling local history, which gives the place an identity. While I would like to love this place, I can't bring myself to rate it that high.
The main reason for that is that while this place is good for lunch, dinner has been a disappointment of sorts several times. Dishes don't feel that well thought out or aren't served as specified on the menu. The food certainly isn't bad, it's quite tasty in fact but it lacks a certain zest or personal touch which would make it stand out. Combine that with the rather long wait in the evening, I just don't feel the price is entirely justified.
That's a shame, because the location and atmosphere are good so in my opinion Guulke doesn't live up to its full potential.

β β β β β Very good place to have lunch. The ingredients are really fresh and good portions as well. It located in the centre of Nederweert with several options to park your car. It's decorated with an industrial look, but still very warm and cosy. They even have a fireplace in the middle. Very good food and a lot of different choices.

β β β β β Would definitely recommend! Great atmosphere, had diner here with a larger friend group and diner was timed perfectly so that everybody got their food at the same time. The nacho's were great and the spareribs were so amazing that the meat just fell off the bone.

β β β β β The high tea was awesome! First some buns with fish, meat or fish and meat, then this plate of sweetness. It was all very tasty. And unlimited tea and coffee!
