My beard trim was really nice and the guy who did my beard was good. The trim was perfect at the end. However, I was with my boyfriend and had to wait 2 hours to get our beard done.
When watching the employees working, I saw a non dynamic team. They talked a lot with each other, and they were soooo slow.
AND, there is no shampoo ?! For beard and not even for hair, which I think is very important in a barber/hair salon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After trying several different hairdressers in Amsterdam I found this place, the only one which gave me a proper haircut. Yes you will pay extra money, yes you will have to wait, but guys it's worth it. Same with the hair products they sell, here I've got the best hair wax I ever had. Don't hesitate to spend some extra euros and treat yourself here at least once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have just had a hair cut. They are pretty good and serious at their job and they know how to cut your hair. The barbershop is designed as old fashion and really cool, on the other hand, they ask what you would like to drink when you enter the shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a good haircut the first time, albeit a little pricey.
Today, I came in just before 4pm - over an hour before the published closing time, and was turned away due to the line. Keep in mind that I even called 20 minutes prior to ensure it would be fine, to which the guy responded, “It’s fine, we close at 5...”
And the hunt to find a decent (and convenient) barber shop continues...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THE place in Amsterdam to get a man’s haircut. Whenever I go there I’m always impressed with what they’re capable of doing with your hair. It’s almost like magic. The staff is super friendly and experienced. You’re always greeted with a smile and a cup of coffee or water.
One thing to point out is first-come-first-serve system of service. I must say I was a little skeptical in the beginning, but I’ve grown to like it. You go when it’s convenient for you and sometimes you’ll have to wait ~15 min, but usually you get a haircut almost right away.
Overall, I highly recommend that you check them out. But beware, the price is a little bit steep at €50, but you get your money’s worth in an amazing haircut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visiting here but was pleasantly surprised by the laid-back atmosphere while having very high standards with regards to male grooming. I had my hair and beard cut , while sipping a cold Mexican beer. Cant recommend this one enough.
