★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very important part of the university of Groningen. It was built at the end of the nineteenth century and, as the name reveals, its original purpose was that of an auditorium - it was actually famous for its perfect acoustics. Now it is home to modern classrooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here with the expectation of a nice place to sit and study in quiet. However this was not what we were greeted with. Whenever people walked by their impact on the floor resulted in it shaking as if there was an earthquake. This disrupted our workflow heavily. If we could we would give 0 stars. The only good thing about this experience was the proximity of a good Italian sandwich place across the street!
