★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girlfriend and I went on the bicycle and stopped here for a drink and something to eat. I went for the homemade apple pie and she for a Dame Blanche. The homemade apple pie must be one of the best apple pies I've ever tasted! Top3 def. Also the whipped cream was homemade. Really delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update Feb 2021: Excellent takeaway menu’s are available to come through the pandemic, we really enjoyed the very well prepared food. Previously: The Herberg now also offers 3, 4, or 5 course surprise menus with a paired wine arrangement. We enjoyed with a group of seven the four course option, it was pretty good and on our request served fairly fast in about two and a half hours. Altogether an enjoyable and value for money experience in this established place with a new owner.
