★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant aan de brink in Gasteren. De menukaart is redelijk uitgebreid, en inderdaad er worden ook pannenkoeken geserveerd. Service is netjes, beleefd en accuraat. De keuken is open vanaf 12.00 uur, maar eerder kun je natuurlijk koffie en gebak krijgen. De zaak is overdag open en moet het vooral hebben van toerisme. Wandelaars ( het Pieterpad loopt er langs) en fietsers. Er is een terras en voor kinderen een speelplek. Zelf heb ik voor euro 6.50 een wafel met aardbeien en slagroom en koffie genomen. Prima wafel. De Gaasterse duinen zijn op loopafstand.
 Restaurant on the brink in Gasteren. The menu is fairly extensive, and indeed pancakes are also served. Service is neat, polite and accurate. The kitchen is open from 12:00, but of course you can get coffee and pastries earlier. The business is open during the day and relies mainly on tourism. Walkers (the Pieterpad runs along it) and cyclists. There is a terrace and a playground for children. I myself have taken a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream and coffee for Euro 6.50. Great waffle. The Gaasterse dunes are within walking distance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Welcoming staff, fast and patient service. Good to take kids to. Interior is somewhat outdated however and it's on the pricey side for what you get. While I enjoyed my visit, the cost for just some pancakes and drinks would keep me from coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely time here. The pancakes were delicious. I had the pannenkoeken met appel, and my aunt had the one with bacon. The service was fast and very friendly. They had a very lengthy menu, so there is something for everyone. They had a large seating area outside. We chose to eat inside. There is a cute play area downstairs for the kids. There is also a semi-private area for large groups or events. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.
