★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deze Jubileumfontein is in 1948 onthuld en ontworpen door de Nederlandse beeldhouwer Dolf Wong Lun Hing. Het beeld werd aangeboden aan de vrouwen van Roermond als eerbetoon voor hun moedige gedrag tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
De fontein hoort net zo bij Roermond als het Munsterplein of het standbeeld van Pierre Cuypers. Bovenop worden twee spelende kinderen afgebeeld. Een aangename plek in de stad om voorbij te drentelen.
 This Jubilee Fountain was unveiled in 1948 and designed by the Dutch sculptor Dolf Wong Lun Hing. The statue was presented to the women of Roermond as a tribute to their courageous behavior during the Second World War.
The fountain is just as much a part of Roermond as Munsterplein or the statue of Pierre Cuypers. Two playing children are depicted on top. A pleasant place in town to stroll past.
