I was after a specific cake for a friends birthday and couldn’t find this cake on any of the usual websites. Het Bakkertje had some! Ron helped me send some slices which couldn’t have made him a whole lot of profit for the effort he had to go through. I was really impressed with the service. Next time I’m in The Hague, I’ll come in and express my gratitude personally. Plus grab some cakes and delicious bread while I’m there...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic quaint, local bakery! Very good, fresh, great sandwiches, good quality, and the staff is very friendly. There are a couple bakeries in the area, but this is my favorite. Prices are a little high but certainly reasonable. I definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was over 50 years ago when I as a 5 year old boy bought my buns here. It is still the same shop with nice helpful staff and good quality bread and biscuits. Try the egg cakes and muesli buns. And... Well try every thing.
There has been a bakery here for over 160 years.

They have a wide range of bakery and confectionery products including various types of cakes, cookies, brownies, breads, sweets, etc. They also have a coffee machine, which is very convenient if you would like to grab a quick bite.
I also like their wooden store design.

If you go here you MUST try the Kersenflap ?? you have to go early tho because at noon most of the time those are sold out.
