★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, but super rude staff; the waiter kept coming again and again rudely asking if we want to order more, despite having already reordered and unfinished, finally asking us to move to another stand. At this point of course we left, and definitely not stepping foot again, disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here was decent! The eggs we ordered were cold, but tasty. The best feature is definitely the outdoor terrace as it’s situated in a lovely spot of the sun and has nice views. Perfect for brunch or breakfast with friends. Unfortunately for our visit there was very few servers, so we waited a very, very long time for drinks and food. We ended up not getting some of the drinks we ordered so that was disappointing. Overall, it was enjoyable and I hope to go back on a day when there are more staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally a cozy place with a big terrace has been opened at Blijdorp. The menu is very big, vast variety of options for breakfast/lunch/dinner. After 5pm it’s usually occupied (especially terrace), so it’s better to book a table in advance. One issue so far: dinner dishes are quite expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very satisfied with the dinner I had but not that much pleased with the breakfast. The poached eggs was quite tasteless and looked more like boiled eggs. I highly recommend trying "Lamschenkel" with a glass of merlot for dinner.
