★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe just bad luck, but all night long. The most terrible service we have had for years. It took 30 miutes or more to get the menu, even longer to get the food. After that they failed to serve drinks we ordered....and still had them on the bill. No, this was a one time only visit. And yes, the food not good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coffee was okay, but later one staff member came to ask us if we wanted more drinks after we had just reordered, so a bit chaotic. When I went to the toilet, I encountered an unearthly smell eminating from the drains. Made me a bit giddy, if I'm honest. Before we left the staff decided to put out cushions for the long benches. They found the process all very funny, but it was kind of disruptively for existing customers. So, would I use this cafe again? Have a guess!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb carpaccio open sandwich in early spring sunshine on café terrace. The evening fish menu looked very exciting, so hope to return one day for a dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice stay here in Het Wapen van Willemstad. The people are very accomadating. The bed is confortable. The food is very good and fresh. We were disturbed by the absence of any kind of separation between the bedrooms and the bathrooms, but the toilets of the restaurant were clean enough so that we could use them. Thank you for the understanding of our approximate dutch.
