The older bridge from the 17th century was replaced by the current one in 1883 . The plate bridge, partly bascule bridge , is decorated with decorative pieces of cast iron (with city weapons), a natural stone vase balustrade, obelisks of natural stone with decorated lantern supports and matching lanterns
