★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik kom nooit met de auto in Utrecht, maar ging iemand ophalen bij Tivoli. Daarom hier geparkeerd. Voordeel, er is plek zat, nadeel, het is nauwelijks te vinden! Utrecht centrum is echt een chaos voor de onbekende automobilist. En duur parkeren voor een uurtje.
I never come to Utrecht by car, but went to pick someone up at Tivoli. Therefore parked here. Advantage, there is plenty of room, disadvantage, it is hard to find! Utrecht center is really chaotic for the unknown motorist. And expensive parking for an hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crazy expensive at 0.50 € for just 7 minutes! (4.5€ an hour!). Parking does not get cheaper if you stay longer and no overnight deals!
No prices are put outside, at the entrance!
Once you enter, it is impossible to exit without finding a parking spot, going to the ticket machine, and paying 50 cents (probably 1 € as more than 7 minutes would have passed by then!)
The facilities and security are above average, however far from great, and below the standard thst was expected for such an expensive parking.
I suggest parking at the Paardenveld parking, which is just 4 minutes walk from this “parking”, and it is only 2.80€ per 65 minutes, and offers deals if you wish to park for longer. Security is much better, and services are about the same.
The Paardenveld parking offers about the best price to distance ratio in Utrecht, however you could always park further from the city for a better price and use public transportations.
Stay away from the Hoog Catharijne parking, if you value your money and the valuables inside your car. Probably the worst parking in Utrecht and one of the worst I have ever been to!
