A special overnight stay with a wonderful breakfast. Michel is super accommodating and the room is very clean and has a special charm. Absolutely worth a night or more. Typical Dutch breakfast and also the Corona behavior is observed. We are happy to recommend it!

β β β β β I stayed here on the 29th Jan 2020, What a fantastic quirky little gem this hotel is, We had no idea the hotel was a barge due to work booking for us, But the worker (I'm sorry I did not catch your name) was outstanding, He came out of his way to meet us and showed us the way, He also helped us track down a lost passport, Very helpful and a hero. Breakfast was great as was leaving early he supplied is with bread and croissants, Rooms where outstanding, beds were fantastic and comfy, Hotel was very clean and spotless. Overall I highly recommend this hotel 6*

β β β β β We had a short (3 nights) but pleasant stay. Do not book if you are looking for a five star hotel where your every wish is fulfilled. Definitely book if you are looking for a cozy, romantic hotel with an incredibly friendly host. The rooms are small and cozy, with comfortable beds and a good shower. There is no kitchen on the boat, so the breakfast is simple but good. Freshly baked bread with toppings, and if you wish for it a good conversation with the host Michel. The location of the boat is great, with both the center and the ferry to Texel at a walking distance. It is a boat, so it might be a bit hot inside. We were provided with a fan which solved this problem for us. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was divided in timeslots to prevent too much people being in the same room because of Covid-19. The only downside we could find is that the beds might be a bit short for people taller than me (190cm), as I only just fit into the bed.
In short, this little gem of a hotel offers the great experience of sleeping on a boat, while keeping a high level of hygiene and comfort.
