★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The oldest hotel in Holland built around 1290 and one of the two buildings in the city that weren’t destroyed by the huge fire in 1397. It has a first class restaurant. Great breakfast. But it can be a little noisy during the night because of all the bars around. At least it was when I was there, and maybe because it was on a Friday. The staff is very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice to relax and it is in a nice central place. You can go to the 'lake' and go through the city which is beautiful. They also really watch out with Corona and they follow all rules. The only thing that could be improved was the shower. It was a nice shower but didn't look nice. The rest of the room is good and they have nice rooms. The restaurant also was really nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked the hotel with the three for two offer including a tasting menu dinner as part of our wedding weekend. The staff were amazing... very helpful and friendly. We especially appreciated the room upgrade we received..the view from our room was great! The dinner that was included went beyond anything we have ever experienced and had us dining until midnight! What an fantastic weekend! We will never forget it. I Would highly recommend this hotel if you're exploring Bergen op Zoom as its in the centre of town! Also if you're looking for a more extravagant and exciting meal! Thank you again to all the staff for an unforgettable experience...we will be back next year!

It's a nice hotel right in downtown.
The rooms are very clean but not up to date and in my opinion need modernization. The service, the staff and the quality of the food was to my complete satisfaction and I look forward to checking in again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful. I’ve booked the deluxe double bed room and it doesn’t worth a 4 star.
It’s very noisy: we can hear all the go and forth resonating in the corridor. The sound of the cracking stairs is Very uncomfortable as our room was situated next to the staircase. The hotel was fully booked, so impossible to move to another room. For a historic hotel, the room atmosphere feels rather cheap. Accessibility: there is a little amount of public parking around the hotel, unless you book the hotel’s parking. I’ve parked my car in the perimeter of the city and Ive walked with my heavy bag to the hotel.

Nice breakfast with choices but definitely too expensive (20€),
Private parking against money (really expensive), need to book it the day of arrival???
2nd building with old fashion room (only the bathroom was renovated) unfortunately.
Won't be there next time in Bergen.
If you want to book there, request for a brand new renovated room because on the internet site, you only see the new rooms and you'll be disappointed at the arrival.
