Hotel needs renovation, Its not what you see online. The first time in my life I have slept in a Junior Suite with two separate beds, price and quality don't combine at all. You shouldn't call the room 147 a Junior Suite. Good food, great swimming pool, sauna and good service!! I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for luxe weekend a way.

Nice staff & great, out of the way, setting for this hotel. The rooms are basic, but clean & neat. Very good gym for a hotel,&the surrounding forest has a lot of good walks & mountain biking trails. Some nice local beers on tap in the restaurant.

I booked a junior suite with the idea to have a special and luxurious experience (room is € 160 for the night, incl breakfast). Unfortunately I was very disapointed. Almost no daylight due to half a window, furniture that looks dated and used. The room itself showed the signs of time, and needs a real freshen up.. Bathroom the same, showerhead not pristine, appliances broken. The spa/sauna is all right for a quick round, not for half day relaxation. The location of the hotel is good as we had some beer tasting in the nearby Ermelo. The low rating is mainly because the ratio price/experience is not at all OK. The same room at € 90/100 would have been OK.

We had a very pleasant stay in the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean and the surroundings are very beautiful!

this hotel has a very elegant style. the rooms are large and the hotel is in a quiet spot, so no noisy traffic!Around the hotel there are beautiful pieces of forest that you can cycle through.

Nice comfortable hotel, good service and accurate treatment. The beds are quite soft but otherwise fine rooms. Til next time.

We have been in this Hotel several times in the past. We think it’s a nice hotel to visit and in a nice location. This time we stayed in a Junior suite. Nice spacious room and very clean. The swimming pool is good too.There were not a lot of guests so we could enjoy the swimming pool for ourselves. The Restaurant is good too, dinner was great and the breakfast buffet is very complete, full of options and good quality. The staff is friendly. However, I’m giving 3 stars only, because I think that there is room for improvement. We had a situation in the morning, during the shower, the water stopped flowing, so I called reception and I explained what happened. I was told that a technician would come to our room and check the issue, I explicitly explained that my husband was full of soap, time passed by, but no one came to our room…check out time was approaching and we had other places to be, so we dressed up (with the soap still on). 5 minutes before leaving the room, we noticed that the water was working again but no one informed us. I miss pro-activity on calling us back to inform that the water was fixed. Because of COVID, there were fixed time slots to choose to use the facilities and also for the restaurant. I fully understand that, however, since the Hotel was nearly empty I missed a little of flexibility with the schedule. At the end the flexibility was there, but only because we asked for it. The Hotel charges parking to the guests, this is new vs the past and it seems silly considering the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. I understand that you need to pay parking at a hotel in the middle of a city but I don’t see it justified to pay parking here. I understand the explanation given to us, about people not staying at the hotel sometimes parking there and for this reason they put a parking barrier, but customers staying at the hotel should not be paying for this.
