★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay in this small hotel in the middle of the woods in Castricum, a 10- minute cycle ride to the glorious Dutch beaches and very near an old village with old fashioned shops and tearooms with friendly local people. The hotel was beautifully decorated with a different theme for every room, modern, clean bathrooms and helpful staff and owners. We enjoyed the relaxed ambiance and had breakfast every morning and dinner on Christmas evening, everything was succulent and prepared with great care. We took the car to Amsterdam, but hired the bikes from the hotel for all the local attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who looks for a relaxing break. Summer must be even better in this beautiful location ..........

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can vouch personally from staying here at my best mates wedding October 2019 . Inside you will find Beautiful Clean rooms, A great function room and the jewel on the crown the restaurant! Decorated in stunning colours and the food is to die for !
Of course non of this can work without the amazing staff Saskia and her team whom are the friendliest people ever and go the extra mile to make your experience Is a special one ?
You won’t be disappointed I assure you .
I Will pop in for a beer one day when over again . Stay safe and well everyone ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service at the reception is terrible, the lady was rude and not welcoming. we thought breakfast was included. It is, but be careful, they charge extras for breakfast without informing! We ordered cappuccino when they asked what we wanted to drink. And later we were asked to pay about 10 euro for 3 machine coffee!!!! I have never seen anywhere else. At least inform people! I would never go back to this place again trying to rip off for small things whereas actually they are missing the big gain especially during corona lockdown!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed there for two nights in a nice comfortable room. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast and diner was delicious! For me, the best selling point of this hotel would be its location. The hotel is practically situated in a nature reserve, which is the perfect place if you want to get away from it all. We had a lovely hike to the beach through the nature reserve, which I can definitely recommend!
