Al jaren trouwe gast bij Maaike & Luc en nu ook een van de gelukkige die de nieuwe locatie in het pitoreske Wijchen heb mogen uitproberen. Ik kan oprecht zeggen dat ik nog nooit zo lekker heb gegeten! De wachtrij is lang, maar dan heb je ook wat! Hier kom ik zeker nog is terug! In a word FENOMINABEL! A loyal guest at Maaike & Luc for years and now also one of the lucky ones who got to try out the new location in the picturesque Wijchen. I can honestly say that I have never eaten so well! The queue is long, but then you have something! I'll definitely be back here!

Het restaurant is gesloten, gelukkig is in-room-dining nog wel mogelijk. De volgende ochtend een heerlijke wandeling kunnen maken in de royaal aangelegde tuin, echt mooi nagebootst die tropische jungle. Wij komen snel een keer terug! What a great hotel! completely relaxed during this difficult period of lockdown. The restaurant is closed, luckily in-room dining is still possible. The next morning we were able to take a lovely walk in the generously landscaped garden, a really nice imitation of that tropical jungle. We will come back soon!
K	Koen van Uden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Voor een weekend Nijmegen/Wijchen een hotelkamer bij dit hotel geboekt. Wij hebben gekozen voor dit hotel wegens zijn all-in service. We konden gelukkig al om 12 uur middags inchecken, waardoor wij heerlijk lang door Wijchen konden wandelen. Fijn dat het zo dicht tegen het centrum aanligt. Tijdens aankomst werden wij hartelijk ontvangen door gastheer Luc. Het hotel beschikt over een aantal kamers (lekker kleinschalig), fijn restaurant en een grote tuin. Onze badkamer had een dubbele wasbak, douche en een bad. Dit was ook ruim voldoende. Door de all-in service kregen wij s'avonds en heerlijk diner voorgeschoteld. De chef had voor ons een 5-gangen diner voorbereid en een amuse (zie foto's). Als klap op de vuurpijl hadden de eigenaars een heerlijke fles champagne, die in de tuin werd gesabreerd. Als ontbijt had de chef crêpes suzette met ijs bereid. Al met al een heerlijk hotel, om jezelf en je gezelschap goed culinair te laten verwennen. Late-Checkout was mogelijk tot max 11.00 uur. Het enige minpuntje was de temperatuur in de hotelkamer. Tijdens de nacht kan het kouder aanvoelen. Booked a hotel room at this hotel for a weekend in Nijmegen/Wijchen. We chose this hotel because of its all-inclusive service. Fortunately, we were able to check in at 12 noon, so we could walk through Wijchen for a long time. Nice that it is so close to the center. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by host Luc. The hotel has a number of rooms (nice small scale), a nice restaurant and a large garden. Our bathroom had a double sink, shower and bath. This was also more than sufficient. Due to the all-in service, we were served a delicious dinner in the evening. The chef had prepared a 5-course dinner for us and an amuse-bouche (see photos). To top it all off, the owners had a delicious bottle of champagne, which was sabre in the garden. For breakfast the chef had prepared crêpes suzette with ice cream. All in all, a lovely hotel to spoil yourself and your company with culinary delights. Late Checkout was possible up to 11 am. The only minus was the temperature in the hotel room. During the night it can feel colder.
