e	echobase on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked to stay one night as I had a connecting flight the next day, ended up cancelling the hotel which was free cancellation through booking.com. This didn’t stop the hotel taking full payment and then when I asked about a refund told me they wouldn’t refund as they offer reasonable prices? never heard anything like it. It wasn’t until I got booking.com involved that they refunded me, they then proceeded to lie to the customer service agent from booking.com, saying they didn’t take the payment and they hadn’t refused to refund me. This was all handled by their manager Mohammad, very poor customer service, I think he needs a lesson in etiquette. I won’t be booking with them again and I’d advise anyone else to think twice before doing so.

Very well located, quaint, clean and very well priced little hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. . Will stay here again when I return.

The furniture in our room was a bit old, with several big stains on the carpet and some things in need of repair, such as the toilet lid not being attached properly. Earplugs definitely necessary at this place- we were regularly woken up by sounds in the hallway during the night and every time the other guests (un)locked their doors it sounded the sound was right at our door. Pretty warm and stuffy but there were two fans in the room and one of the windows had mosquito netting.

m	myriam mechita on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i booked a room to make a christmas gift to my son. we were supposed to go for christmas, but on saturday 19th december, the lockdown was annouced. the country was open but everything was closed, restaurants, cafe, museum..i asked the hotel to postponed my trip, they proposed me to postponed for 5 or 6 weeks maximum. i asked to postponed until the next school holidays for my son. they refused. i paied a room with extra checking for nothing. they said, you can come and eat in you room..everything was closed, impossible to cook in the room..what an hotel who can't understand this special situation..for a costumer who pay a room with an extra and ask just to postpone until the next holidays...really not commercial..
J	John Kling on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved my stay here. I was a guest for three nights. The staff was wonderful. Good breakfast. Excellent location - very quiet but close to everything. I had a small single room and it was exactly as advertised. I would happily stay here again.

Since we never had any of our meals here, I cannot comment on the food quality at the restaurant. Nevertheless, you can definitely consider this if you are looking for a budget stay in the heart of Amsterdam.
