★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's right next to the canals. Actually, my window overlooked them. It's a pity it's also right next to a bar. They can get quite loud, but you'll probably be fine. Also, minor thing, no power point next to my bed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Steep stairs, bad wifi, very narrow room, not air conditioned, just a warmer in the room, no place for your cloth, staff are not very cooperative. Suitable only to sleep by the end of the day. Just one star

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Calling this property a Hotel is an overstatment. It's at best a DORM. I'd the misfortune of booking this Hotel in peak summer. It's a travesty for a Hotel. Lobby is closed by 7 PM so you pick up keys from a bar next door. Then in Peak Summer heat, the owner doesn't have the common sense to put a table fan inside the room for his guests. I'd stay away from this DORM even if it's the last room available in AMS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice stay. Room was a bit barebones but functional and exactly as described. Nice welcome and service. As was the breakfast (which is provided for an extra 5 EUR). Quiet neighborhood, but still safe and pretty nice :)
