★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, atmosphere and building. Beautiful viewpoints around hotel and on walking distance of pitoresk village center. Rooms a bit outdated, but everything functions and is clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was quite basic and old fashioned but we didn't expect any more for the cheap price. There was nothing wrong with the room and it seemed clean. Breakfast buffet had all the (in the Netherlands) standard ingredients, enough variety (only thing I missed was peanut butter and maybe bananas). The staff was very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is fantastic! If you like old-timey Dutch/Germanic medieval architecture then this hotel is just 15 minutes walk away from the city centre.
The hotel is old, however and it shows in every little thing. That means: Noisy rooms, odd layouts and stinky hallways.
Thankfully, they serve locally brewed beer here which makes up for it. Sie sprechen auch allen Deutsch hier!
