★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well cared for park. Part of a chain of greenery that circles the golden age city moat of Leiden. Filled with playgrounds, sports courts, bridges and ducks and geese. Great place to walk and enjoy the sights of Leiden.

That said, there's a nice park along the canal and some futsal pitches. Good place to catch some sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tiny little park along the Maersingel. Part of the ever growing singelpark. I place to sit in the summer. Also check out the public herbs garden. Maybe be a little more active on the exercise parts or basketball field. Just around the corner of the busy city center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park. Some will say the most beautiful park there is. And believe me I've seen a lot of parks. I know a lot about parks. I'm a real park kinda guy. Last week I talked to my neighbor, very fine guy, excellent man, and you know what he said? He said, we have one of the best parks in our beautiful nation and we have a lot of truly magnificent parks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These "Parking automaat" is 90% of the time not proper working. I strongly complaint to the Gemeente Leiden to do something about it. It's absolutely not appropriate to tell people buy your card to their nearest machine.. Why this not yet fixed. It has been years! Before you know it you are given a fine and I think you will win the case in court. ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are new to Leiden city, this is an amazing place to meet people, work out, or read a book. During the summer, the place is crowded with students. An amazing vibe to relax for a couple of hours.
There's is also an outdoor gym to work out after work. Feel free to check it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice park area, but always muddy in the fall/winter/spring. New yellow structure is not great to look at. Summertime sees the dog area filled with students.
