If you are into photography this is going to be a magical experience for you! Visited in April 2018 and the shows were simply amazing. So many artists such a good citation and a holistic approach. The supportive text was also good giving context to the photographs. Lastly, the interior of the building is so so so impressive that makes the whole experience even better! Plus they have nice and friendly staff, happy to help with large groups, students, lockers etc.

The museum shows photos of different artists and it’s has a lot of temporary expositions. It’s worth checking out what is displaying before goi, maybe the artists won’t always resonate with you

Visited this museum late August and really enjoyed how they set up every space. The whole building and gardens are very authentic Amsterdam which is reason enough for a visit. It surprised me that the exhibition went beyond just photography.

This is a small photography museum made inside an old Dutch house. The shows are usually really good and well curated. Check what’s on and look up the artist before going as there is no permanent collection. The old house is also amazing on its own with the beautiful design and the cascading trees outside the window. Don’t miss details like the glass chandeliers

A small but exciting museum of photography. It's a conservative place compared to Foam.

A magnificent 17th century building with a garden and big display rooms with a few photographs on the wall. The quality of the photos are quite dependent on the photographer and the beholder. The photos of Luc Delahay are currently on display until May 2022. We were really disappoined and felt the photos lacked luster and presence. The photos from Japanese photographers were interesting, however, there were very few works on display . I am uncertain if the price is worth visiting the museum. There are better museums in the Amsterdam area, like the Museum van Loon and the Oude Kerk at the Dam, which has a yearly world press photo exhibition that is more interesting. I can't recommend this museum... unless you happen to like the photographer that is currently being shown.

Small photography museum on the Keizersgracht. Located in two beautifully restored (17th century?) houses. All rooms are located on the different floors in the houses, connected by small staircases (I believe there's an elevator too. Nice exhibitions. Not overloaded with visitors, which is good.

This is wonderful photo museum located in 17th century buildings. It is an experience. The layout of the displays on different floor and in a variety of rooms. It invites to you to slow down and take in the art. Beautiful variety of sizes in the 13 galleries. There are a lot stairs
