★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prima ijssalon en ook de lunchkaart is goed. Altijd lactosevrij ijs in het assortiment is een pluspunt. Lunchgerechten zeer smaakvol. Online openingstijden is wel een verbeterpunt want die kloppen niet altijd
 Great ice cream parlor and the lunch menu is also good. Always lactose-free ice cream in the range is a plus. Lunch dishes very tasteful. Online opening hours are an improvement point because they are not always correct

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fietsbroek bij een fietsen-speciaalzaak in Roden gekocht en daarna nog ff lekker wat gegeten bij dit gezellig restaurantje. Was er niet druk, maar goede service. Nog ff lekker van het mooie, maar tóch wel frisse weer genoten en dus lekker buiten gegeten.
Hierna nog lekker ff toeren vanaf Roden, via Roderwolde, Norg, Donderen, Vries en Zuidlaren. Bij Zuidlaren de snelweg A28 op, bij de rotonde Gieten de N34 genomen om zo bij Gasselte weer richting Stadskanaal te rijden. Eenmaal weer thuis lekker bankhangen en tv kijken.
Bought cycling shorts at a bicycle shop in Roden and afterwards had a nice meal at this cozy restaurant. Wasn't busy, but good service. Still enjoying the beautiful, but still fresh weather and so we ate outside.
After this, a nice tour from Roden, via Roderwolde, Norg, Donderen, Vries and Zuidlaren. At Zuidlaren take the A28 highway, at the Gieten roundabout take the N34 to drive back to Stadskanaal at Gasselte. Once back home, relax on the couch and watch TV.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot for lunch or a snack. Their desert menu looked really enticing and based on the sandwhich I had, I have no doubt their sweeter snacks would be delicious too. They make their own in house breads which are fantastic.
