★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While on holiday visited this store. Saw a cruiser board that caught my eye and went to go see it a few times before I decided to pull the trigger on it. The staff was great they let me try the board in the store, and tightened the kingpins for me. Also were really helpful when filling out my tax refund form. Brilliant store for anyone remotely interested in skating. The store sells everything from shoes to hardware. Would definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the mid/ end of the 90ies i visited Independent Outlet for the first time. Back then in a different location. Came there for the records and in my opinion it was and still is, one of the best adresses in Amsterdam for Punk/ Hardcore Vinyl. The selection is way less than back in the days, but still i try to go there every time I visit Amsterdam. Never went out there without buying anything.
These days most of the stuff in Store is Skatestuff/ clothes. I do recommend to give Independent Outlet a visit while in Amsterdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an awesome skate shop. I got back into skating after moving here. I needed shoes and trucks. These guys delivered. The employee I worked with was super patient with me, I probably tried on 10 different pairs of shoes and at no point did I feel like I was wasting anybody's time. The employee did a great job juggling me and allowing other shoppers to browse the store while maintaining distance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome skate shop with a rather broad assortment. Staff was super friendly and patient. Tried on a bunch of shoes and they gave me really good advice. Recommended:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here was super friendly and walked me through their wares. I was hesitant to purchase a board due to luggage space constraints, and they offered to take the trucks off for me. I ended up purchasing a gnarly little penny board sized cruiser.
