★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My worst experience of eating out in Mastricht. The food was ok but the attitude and the service was pathetic. The waitress made us feel unwanted. While she cordially talked to other guests, we were ignored. Never faced such cold behaviour earlier in Netherlands.

Though service was super-slow!! We ordered at around 20:30 and food were served after 21:40! Two hungry kids sitting beside made it even worst ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food in a neat little spot. They very happily and easily accomodated our request for a vegetarian rijstafel, even though that wasn't on the menu. Everything went together wonderfully, and was in enormous quantities. When in Maastricht, eat at Kapulaga!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good. It is nearly authentic like the food that we can get in any restaurant in Indonesia. Portion was generous. Just a bit too pricey! The staff is friendly. BUT.... we made a table reservation, as we arrived nothing was made and the dirty dishes from the last customers was still on the tables (they have +/- 10 tables) 8 of it was still with dirty dishes on the tables. They made us sit and wait in the other clean table for 6 people while they’re cleaning the other table for us..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, but the service needs SERIOUS improvements. We reserved a table 2 weeks in advance and when we showed up we found out that they hadn't written down our reservation properly, didn't know we were coming and thus gave our table away. When we finally could sit down we had to ask for everything 3 times until the waiting staff finally serviced us. What a disappointment.
