Na 3 jaar een kleine boekhouding bij Indygo te hebben gehad, heb ik besloten om over te stappen naar een andere boekhouder. De reden hiervoor was dat de communicatie met Indygo niet zo vlot verliep en het bleek dat ik mijn kosten kon verlagen bij een andere boekhouder.
Voor de overstap naar de andere boekhouder en het afsluiten van mijn boekhouding bij Indygo had ik vragen. Mijn vragen die ik netjes per email naar de heer Pessel stuurde bleven echter vaak onbeantwoord. Wanneer ik wel een antwoord kreeg (vaak na enig aandringen en verstuurde herinneringen) waren de vragen maar half beantwoord. Het kwam zelfs zo ver dat ik aangetekende brieven met toekomstige juridische stappen naar Indygo heb gestuurd om mijn boekhouding in handen te krijgen. Ik heb het als erg onbehulpzaam en zeer frustrerend ervaren. Ook de toon in de communicatie naar mij toe was vaak denigrerend of zelfs kleinerend. Onprofessioneel.
Na 6 maanden heen en weer mailen over “wanneer sturen jullie mijn boekhouding toe ivm de bewaarplicht” heeft Indygo/de heer Pessel eindelijk mijn boekhouding overgedragen aan mijn nieuwe boekhouder. Vragen van mijn nieuwe boekhouder over deze documenten en de afgelopen aangiftes aan Indygo bleven onbeantwoord en er bleken zelfs fouten te zijn gemaakt in mijn belastingaangifte.
Nu, een paar weken later, blijkt dat Indygo en de heer Pessel geen vergunning (meer) hebben bij de AMF voor het verlenen van financieel advies ivm het niet voldoen aan de wettelijke eisen omtrent vakbekwaamheid. Dat zegt genoeg over deze partij lijkt me.
Unreachable, unprofessional and many questions remained unanswered.
After having had a small bookkeeping at Indygo for 3 years, I decided to switch to another bookkeeper. The reason for this was that communication with Indygo did not go as smoothly and it turned out that I was able to reduce my costs with another accountant.
I had questions about the switch to another accountant and closing my bookkeeping at Indygo. However, my questions, which I neatly sent to Mr. Pessel by email, often went unanswered. When I did get an answer (often after some insistence and sent reminders) the questions were only half answered. It even got to the point where I sent certified letters with future legal action to Indygo to get my hands on my bookkeeping. I have found it very unhelpful and very frustrating. Also the tone in the communication towards me was often derogatory or even belittling. Unprofessional.
After 6 months of e-mailing back and forth about “when will you send my accounts due to the retention obligation” Indygo/Mr Pessel has finally handed over my accounts to my new accountant. Questions from my new accountant about these documents and the past returns to Indygo went unanswered and it turned out that there were even errors in my tax return.
Now, a few weeks later, it appears that Indygo and Mr. Pessel are no longer licensed by the AMF to provide financial advice due to non-compliance with the legal requirements regarding professional competence. I think that says enough about this party.
