★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik kan het alleen maar ten zeerste afraden om bij het institut francais les te nemen. De kwaliteit van de lessen was zeer laag. Er zat totaal geen structuur in de les en de leraar kon de regels van de grammatica niet correct uitleggen. We deden simpelweg de oefeningen uit het boek, en de lessen waren daar totaal geen toevoeging op. Je kan net zo goed zelf het boek kopen en de oefeningen maken, dat scheelt een hoop geld en moeite. Ik heb in de lessen die ik gevolgd heb, totaal niets geleerd. Zes van de zes cursisten uit mijn groep waren zeer ontevreden. Na het indienen van klachten is dit niet verbeterd. Bovendien is het zeer moeilijk om restitutie van je geld te bewerkstelligen. Je betaalt aan het begin meteen 300 euro, maar als de kwaliteit van de lessen zeer ondermaats is is het vrijwel onmogelijk om restitutie van je geld te krijgen. Kortom, er wordt een hoop geld verdiend door het institut zonder daarvoor een prestatie te leveren. Als je Frans wilt leren, zou ik het je aanraden om ver bij het institut vandaan te blijven.
I can only strongly advise against taking lessons at the institut francais. The quality of the lessons was very low. There was no structure at all in the lesson and the teacher was unable to correctly explain the rules of grammar. We simply did the exercises from the book, and the lessons were no addition at all. You might as well buy the book yourself and make the exercises, that saves a lot of money and effort. I have learned absolutely nothing in the lessons I have taken. Six of the six students from my group were very dissatisfied. This has not improved after the submission of complaints. Moreover, it is very difficult to get a refund of your money. You pay 300 euros at the start, but if the quality of the lessons is very poor, it is virtually impossible to get a refund of your money. In short, a lot of money is earned by the institution without a performance. If you want to learn French, I would recommend that you stay far away from the institution.
