Een tekst die er om vraagt om op muziek te worden gezet, en dat is ook gebeurd. Rixt van Dorssen was een Friese dichteres met een klein maar opvallend oeuvre. Haar enige dichtbundel (De Gouden Rider) kreeg in 1953 de hoogste Friese literaire onderscheiding, de Gysbert Japicxprijs.
 A song of expectation & desire: the rustle of the wind, organ tones, the colors of the sun, the flowers in the meadow, that and much more, all that, that is you. A text that asks to be set to music, and that is what happened. Rixt van Dorssen was a Frisian poet with a small but striking oeuvre. Her only collection of poems (De Gouden Rider) was awarded the highest Frisian literary award, the Gysbert Japicx Prize, in 1953.
