★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had great lunch with some good wine suggestions by the glass. Nice informal atmosphere, friendly staff, great interior. Coffee is not cheap but recommended for the sweet tooths. Must do if taken cheese as dessert.

I was a walk in, no reservation and from the moment I arrived until leaving and all of the fine dining inbetween the whole experience was amazing as we're the whole team. If you like you like fine dining, 5* service and are prepared to pay for it then you get exactly what you are for here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience due to the very friendly service and exquisite quality of the various dishes. The chef surprised us with various small spot-on dishes with great wine pairings. On top of that we got a private tour of the restaurant's wine cellar. All in all, a grandiose experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anjou pigeon is cooked to perfect, extremely tender and juicy. The scallop with summer truffle and Parmesan cheese is outstanding as well, the sweetness of scallop and fragrance of truffle are perfectly balanced. Best 1* restaurant in Rotterdam IMO

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is certainly a must visit in Rotterdam. The staff is extremely courteous and will satisfy every wish. The food is phenomenally good. The watermelon in particular is an exciting composition of appearance, texture and taste. If desired, the sommelier will serve excellent wines to accompany each course. The prices are absolutely reasonable. I will definitely come back here for dinner on every visit to Rotterdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really had a wonderful evening at Joelia. All dishes were remarkably delicious. The wine list were amazing. The service is excellent, very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was really nice and luxurious.
When we arrived, the homemade crunch mixture was on the table and that was so good!! The Amuse bouches were really creative and delicious. After a wonderful 5 course menu, we were treated with a delicious complimentary dessert. And that ended the perfect evening. We really enjoyed the night and will definitely come back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great overall experience. Food is excellent. Make sure to order their signature dish Likkepot Joelia if you go with their fixed menu, it is definitely worth the supplement. Only negative was them being a little bit short staffed towards the end (restaurant was getting fuller throughout the evening).
