Kade 4: dit grand-café, gelegen aan de authentieke Oude Haven, is de plek om te genieten van een Frans georiënteerde keuken en de Rotterdamse gezelligheid. Eerlijke prijzen en spontane bediening zullen een ieder een welkom gevoel geven.
Van zakelijk tot romantisch, met je gezin of een vriend, Kade 4 biedt iedere dag lunch, diner of gewoon een lekkere kop koffie met taart! De naam Rotterdam ontstaat als rond 1250 een dam wordt gelegd in het riviertje ‘de Rotte’. Bij de dam gaan vissers wonen en na verloop van tijd ontstaat er handel en scheepvaart waardoor ‘Rotterdam’ snel groeit. De eerste havenactiviteiten beginnen met de aanleg van de ‘Oude Haven’ in 1328. Door de gunstige ligging groeit Rotterdam dankzij de Oude Haven al snel uit tot een grote havenstad!
Inmiddels is de Oude Haven uitgegroeid tot een aantrekkelijk uitgaansgebied waar gezelligheid en geborgenheid voorop staan. Vele horeca gelegenheden bieden u hier een enorme diversiteit aan eten, drinken en uitgaan. Kade 4 is hierin een vooraanstaand grand-café met de meeste gezelligheid!

Pros: Price, Food and location.
Cons: Service and the place itself.
I went there with a group of 9 people and our table didn't had a lot of space. The service could also be improved with more friendliness, better taking orders and being quicker.
But the food was good, no big dishes but good enough, price was fair and the vibe there was nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled upon this place and sat outside in their seating area as the sun was out. We had a toastie and a croquette and it was delicious. Service was good even though we were sat outside. Lovely views of Witte Huis and canal. Would recommend if you're passing through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for lunch and drinks. Got a table right on the waters edge. Handy QR code menu, order worked well, payment didn't, but paid by card at the end. Service was friendly and fast. There seemed to be more than adequate spacing between everyone at all times. Thank you!

Thank you guys for the fabulous experience. Had my first Bitterballen ever here. That was the searchword I used to find this place! Dog friendly place! ☺️☺️☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have just left the place. I was feeling lucky since I found a table in a good position and the waitress approached us very quickly. We asked two cocktails and she said they cannot serve cocktails. So I asked the reason and the answer was because the place was busy. Being a bit puzzled since they have cocktails on the menu and since it is not like the New Year's Eve but a Sunday afternoon in February, I decided to leave it and I went to an other pub.
