★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best Nasik Lemak I've ever tasted in my entire life! The chicken is very crispy with the taste of all the spices goodness like the one served in the hotel back in Malaysia. Big portion and the sambal is spot on! Not oily, ?. Great and friendly staff there too. Kudos to the owner and the wife, manage to present a good delicious Malay food in Rotterdam! Salute! And thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small, busy shop we came just in time to take a small table for outside. Chinese breakfast pancake was pretty good, had the hot chicken one, pulled spicy chicken would work better than chicken cubes as the wrap falls apart. Nasi lemak, chicken is delicious, sambal has 0 ? to it. The hainan chicken was OK, I cook it regularly at home and think I do better ?. All by all nice place to have a meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not exactly easy to find Malaysian restaurants in Rotterdam or in the Netherlands for that matter. Certainly not one as authentic as Kampong Express. A tiny establishment in the heart of the city with just a few tables but it's extremely popular and one bite of the nasi lemak, I know why. Extremely friendly owner, fantastic food...what else can one wish for?
