Spacious and light, all the tools you need to work away on your ceramics and last but definitely not least a great and enthousiastic teacher Anne who is always excited to think along and try new things. She also makes stunning glazes, my favourite being her ash glaze. All in all, a definite recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kaolin is a small scale studio with a nice vibe, lots of day light and all the gear you need to make your ceramics rock. Anne (owner and teacher) gives clear, friendly and constructive instructions. Besides her expertise about clay and wheel throwing techniques she designs great glazes. I definitely can recommend the studio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took an intensive beginners throwing course this week with Anne and it was a great experience! Kaolin studio is always clean, bright and inviting. Even during the hottest days in the NL, she made sure we are well hydrated and comfortable. She even brought in an A/C unit and treated us to nice cold drinks on our last day. She’s a very thoughtful and friendly teacher. I would definitely recommend Kaolin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a brand new pottery studio, located in the Vechtclub crafts & arts building. It provides one-off workshops, pottery and glaze training, and special productions.
Everything in this studio breaths craftsmanship and passion for clay & (ash-) glazes. Very inspiring.
