★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere on a Thursday eve. Staff was really super friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was a good in-between chill and party (means having a drink whilst moving your hips & shoulders but without having to shout to talk with your friend). Great choice of old school music, totally up my street! Really recommend it! (The food too!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best bar in Amsterdam. Went here with a big corporate group and weren't disappointed. The service here is excellent and so are the drinks. If you want a hip and beautiful bar with amazing cocktails and cool people, look no further!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a good time at Karakter. We recently reserved a room for karaoke (which you can do for 1-3 hours) and had a really fun time!!! Service was great. They were attentive and friendly. I’ve visited a handful of times before (not doing karaoke) and the bartenders are pleasant and know how to make a good drink. Fun music and crowd.
