★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful example of 19th/20th century park-gardening. Well maintained and made interesting for all ages with sand sculptures (only during the summer season and every a different theme). The castle itself is not as such open to the general public but the park (also accessible by a walkway from the picturesque centre of the village of Diepenheim) is most certainly worth a visit.
