Nettelhorst is a ruin of a former fortified house near the neighboring Nettelhorst of the same name. The site on which the remains of house Nettelhorst are situated is protected as a 'historic country estate'. The ruin is on private land and cannot be visited freely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Er is lang niet zoveel te beleven en of te bekijken hier gezien het kasteel al bijna volledig weg is en het verder privé terrein is. Je kan er ook moeilijk een wandeltocht rond plannen gezien de drukke weg ernaast. Je bent beter af bij het Kasteel bij Delden in het Twickel.
There is not much to do and see here, given that the castle has almost completely disappeared and it is otherwise private property. It is also difficult to plan a walking tour around it, given the busy road next to it. You are better off at the Castle near Delden in the Twickel.
