★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This REAL is big and we visited it for over 20 years after visiting Bochelt.
The cheese department does not ware gloves. And they touch meat and cheese. I do not like fingerprints on my cheese. But ok, we bought packed cheese. They have very good pre-packed cheese.
But last time we were treated very unfriendly : we were asked to open our rucksack. I had mine on my back. I do not mind if some security staff member want to look inside my bags but just random by some person behind the register, that it outrageous. Do they actually think i would steel something if i buy for hundreds of euro? And how does she decide?
Because i am not German?
So that was the last time for us. Not much wrong with REAL but that one seems to have an odd management. Either you ask ALL customers to look into their bags (some woman carry huge bags) or you let some security staff member do this at random. Shame on you REAL Bochelt !
