★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Changing my review from 5 to 1 star as they now refuse to serve tap water unless you order a drink. This is the first time I see something like that. Complete disrespect for the customer. FYI in Japan you always get unlimited tea or water.
In the other SORA I never had such issues and always only order tap water, so you better of going there.

First there were not many customer in the first place, but it took them 30 minutes to be ready.
What's worse was what they did to me when I asked for more soup.
we found ramen had so little soup, so i asked the women in the picture for more soup.
Immediately I could see she wasn't happy about it but she said she would give us. But then, she brought the soup after another 30 minutes. I could see the broth had been ready for awhile, but she never gave us, but rather served other people.
Not sure if this is Korea - Japan thing or just her having a bad day, I would not recommend this restaurant if you want a good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I had dinner at Sora Ramen (albert cuypstraat location) last night and we both loved the food. It serves izakaya style dishes along with ramen that they offer in 2 sizes. The Takoyaki is the best and it tastes just like the ones we had in Tokyo and Osaka. We also had few other dishes such as Karrage with rice, fried Tofu with soy sauce along with few drinks such as Shochu with lime and oolong tea. The black sesame icecream is also very good. The service was very good and there was no long wait time between dishes. Overall we had a great experience and looking forward to go again soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really salty miso broth, the shoyu was a bit too sweet. Noodles are good but the rest is subpar. Gyozas are also supermarket quality and not fried very well. Quite expensive for the quality. Don’t go if you don’t have cash and don’t have a Dutch card, their machine doesn’t accept international cards. We only found this out after the meal and had to go get cash.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kaze Ramen House is a great choice for a bowl of vegetarian ramen in the middle of the Albert Cuypmarkt. The service is sterling and knowledgeable. The ramen was Sapporo style, from the Hokkaido area of Japan. That means a thicker broth based on miso. There are good choices for non vegetarians. I can really get used to a bowl of vegetarian ramen, with some vegetarian gyoza on the side, and a small mug of tap beer to complete the meal. Kaze means window. The place is cozy and feels very much like a ramen house in a Japanese neighborhood. The mural on the main wall is a lot of fun, particularly if you can find the character with a bottle for a head.
