★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only thing worse than the naivety of my attorney here was his arrogance. I had what should have been a very simple dispute over a relationship break-up and who should move out of an apartment afterwards and it spiraled out of control. The attorney let the opposing counsel dictate the case to the court and when the woman I had broken up with started slandering me, my attorney assured me I didn't have to defend myself from her lies. Well after the judge ruled initially in my favor, which only happened due to some quick thinking on my part to contact the landlord, I subsequently lost the appeal, when I followed his advice not to settle during the appeal hearing. I then had to move out of the apartment that I paid the deposit, rent, and utilities for, that was based on my job contract. And to add insult to injury I also lost the deposit that I put down and was never refunded the money for when the landlord received double rent. Truly incompetent.
