★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute and cosy café. Warming winter vibes and plenty of comfy seats squeezed in. A lovely hostess and a real homely feel. It was perfect to escape the rain for a cheeky hot chocolate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cozy and well located cafe in Amsterdam. However, the staff weren’t friendly and welcoming towards me. I arrived when the cafe was almost empty, so I took a table with five chairs as I was expecting another friend to come. However, very quickly the cafe got filled and then a lady approached me with a very dry attitude, ordering me to leave or sit at the bar. I understand that I can’t occupy 5 chairs, but that must be communicated with a nice and respectful attitude. Even when I asked to pay and expressed that this wasn’t nice, the reaction from the staff was so cold. I stepped out with my friend who just arrived and well never go back again. It is just one of the few cafes in Amsterdam that doesn’t care about their customers, knowing it is probably a tourist who would never come back!!!
