★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the 2018-19 Light Festival tour and it was really good. We live in Amsterdam for 7 years and it was both a great way to see the light festival and to learn new things.
Our skipper & guide was Mark, and he is a great story teller and knows how to make it interesting, educational... with a great sense of humour.
We had a problem with the organisation (were asked to wait in the wrong line), we were upset, but the team on the spot did their best to solve the issue, so if you have an issue, you can be reassured they will care for you.
The head office couldn't help much, but it was nice to see they were taking calls at 8pm of a Sunday.

Harry was a very friendly guide who explained the art pieces taking part in the festival of lights taking place when we took the tour. Thank you! I can recommend it strongly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small boat size good for seeing smaller canals, and for being able to interact with our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and pointed out a lot of interesting sites in Amsterdam. A great way to view the city. It was not clear from the booking information about if we could bring our own food and drink (other tours allowed this). We brought our own and could drink only beverages provided on the boat for sale. Other than this issue, it was a great value for the cost of the tour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Diederick was an excellent captain, he give us facts about Amsterdam, funny guy, it was 1 hour exactly so is enough to make good photos from the canals. I really enjoy it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was lucky to have Tom as a guide for the Amsterdam Light Festival canal tour. The boat was very comfortable even though it was freezing outside. There were 3 different countries included from my group of 5 friends, and Tom was able to make the tour understandable and enjoyable for all. Extremely knowledgeable and able to interact with all ages and backgrounds - I would HIGHLY recommend! Plus, lots of Glugwein!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this cruise through the canals of Amsterdam illustrated with wonderful humour by our skipper Diederick who made me laugh out loud more than once. He also explained several customs and quirks along the way, giving us a better understanding of what we were seeing. A great way to spend an hour in the heart of this lovely city

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb!!! The cruise like a local is the better of the cruises as Bas is a legend and gentleman! I have done this trip 6 times now and it’s so relaxing and a nice way to unwind for 70 min. Highly highly recommend for singles,, groups, couples or families

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were lucky to have the whole boat to ourselves. The singing skippers (our captains) were amazing. They talked us through the whole tour in English.. and SUNG FOR US!! My kids got the steer the boat through the canals and we had a drink included in the price. I'm guessing it's usually busier from reviews I've read. We saw them at the dock at Central station and I asked how I can book a tour.. i thought it would all have to be pre booked because of covid regulations.. but they said we can come straight on board and pay directly. I cannot fault them at all. The price was very reasonable. These two wonderful human beings made our trip an unforgettable one. Thank you so much!
