★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented a boat in May as a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday with his parents and we had a wonderful experience.
The staff was very helpful and empathetic as we were a bit late returning the boat (it can get difficult to estimate how long would take to get back because of traffic) but they were understanding and nice, and that made all the difference in service.
It’s a nice treat and we’d do it again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must do in Amsterdam. Go through the canals by boat. You do not need any experience to ride the boats. This company has the best service out there. I tried multiple rental boat companies in the past and this one I find the best. Friendly personnel, clean boats, good communications and nice service. It was bad weather on the original date that we wanted to rent boat. So we just called mokumboat and they changed the rental date. No issues. Thank you mokumboat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good electric boats, very stable and easy to pilot. Might seem crazy to pilot your own boat in Amsterdams canals but it is probably safer than tourists attempting cycling in Amsterdam. I would recommend it over the various options for boat tours in many cases.
Note most locations do not have toilets and the boats don't either. You can moor the boat but it's quite hard to find a spot in the canals, and you then still need to find a place with a toilet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Three hours was 120 €. We had time to go through lots of small and cozy canals as well as to the inner harbour. The canal through RLD was prohibited thogh. You can bring drinks, but the captain must be sober.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice simple boat with cushions, easy to maneuver, great for a couple hours of relaxing: see lots of Amsterdam, enjoy your own (cheap, supermarket-bought) drinks, and all without walking or traffic.
