Elke dag realiseren we ons bij Kindergarden hoe belangrijk het voor een kind is om vanaf het prille begin op te kunnen groeien in een veilig leefklimaat. Helaas is voor veel kinderen deze veilige start geen vanzelfsprekendheid. Zij groeien op in angst en onveiligheid. Daarom steunt Kindergarden het Babyhuis, zodat ook deze kinderen alle liefde en kansen krijgen die ze verdienen.

β β β β β Buiten het feit dat het een prachtig pand is op een prachtige locatie zijn de juffies lief en professioneel. De peutergroep is echt gericht op het voorbereiden van de basisschool. Er wordt goed naar je kindje gekeken en er wordt spelenderwijs gewerkt aan het vergroten van de zelfstandigheid van de kindjes.
Wij zijn erg tevreden!
 Besides the fact that it is a beautiful building in a beautiful location, the ladies are sweet and professional. The toddler group is really focused on preparing for primary school. Your child is carefully looked at and playful work is done to increase the independence of the children.
We are very satisfied!

β β β β β Kindergarden Kennemerplein is een fijne locatie waar je met een gerust hart je kind onderbrengt bij professionals. Drie groepen (baby-dreumes-peuter) en zeer verantwoord en gezond eten. Vanaf het moment dat wij hier binnen kwamen was het duidelijk: dit gaat het worden!
Kindergarden Kennemerplein is a great location where you can safely accommodate your child with professionals. Three groups (baby-toddler-toddler) and very responsible and healthy food. From the moment we arrived it was clear: this is going to be it!

β β β β β Nice place with professional people. However, it's also quite expensive for what you get.
Points of improvements:
- more staff needed.
- lower number of kids, since they can't move to older groups when they would need it due to their stage of development.
- I assume the low number of staff en high number of kids en the high costs of the location cause inflexibility on extra programme. E.g. There are no (external) outside excursions at all, although they have a lovely green park right next to them. They would not even need to cross the road
- "half day" - day care would be also nice. So far you only can buy βfull-daysβ
- More flexibility in changing days would be welcome. So far you only can ask for βwisseldagenβ within 2 weeks after a period of vacation.

β β β β β This nursery's website is rather misleadingβ¦.they are trying to market themselves to expats / bilingual families. When i called them to enquire about whether they speak English with the children, they confirmed that Dutch is the official spoken language at the nursery and that the leaders only talk English if the child doesn't understand! This is no different to any other nursery in the Netherlands!!!
They are also not very flexible and only offer full days rather than half days which many nurseries are now offering.
From the website the nursery looks great but the reality is that the place is nothing special and fairly ordinary!

β β β β β Kindergarden Kennemerplein Haarlem is a nice daycare in an excellent location with a lovely home-feeling and a nice garden. The food selection is good and overall the environment is nice. However, the employee turnover is very high. These leavers constantly need to be replaced by new employees which requires the for children to get used to the new teachers and for the team of each group to build a new team (also impacts knowledge, experience, daily communication etc etc.). The number of the children per class is also quite high. It would be nice to see less children in each group and stable teams.

Our daughter flies up the stairs to the group every day with a happiest face in the world.
This kindergarten has a very comprehensive curriculum, which is way better than our previous daycare.
Very nice playground, good developing toys, safe environment.
Extremely difficult to get to the kindergarten though or get an extra day.
