★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent hostel. Clean, with modern fittings and fixtures. Right above one of the main drinking streets in the city. This is convenient if you want to party but it does get loud. If this is a problem there are rooms on the back of the buildng.
Kitchen is decent. Beds are good. Everything seems new/well maintained. Rooms are large, lockers are reasonably sturdy. Staff was helpful though usually quite busy (they run a bar/pizza place too). Good pizzas, good coffee.
Some beds do need new pillows (badly). Only other thing worth mentioning is relevant to weed smokers. Saw some kids get asked not to smoke weed in front of a neighbouring resturaunt. They seemed a bit crestfallen about it. Probably not the best feeling for a casual weed smoker so keep that in mind. There's heaps of green space at the end of the street, about 50m away. It's nicer there for a toke ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved the coffee and service here. The staff were friendly and attentive. Very nice laptop friendly bar going on here, with some beautiful decor. Prices were reasonable, especially considering location. Was quite noisy, but dont let that turn you away B+

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best way to travel is with a backpack and best travel experiences are meeting new people at a friendly hostel. King Kong hostel in Rotterdam is one of the best experiences I had. It is well maintained and nice place to hangout with a bar on premise and in the middle of the Gastronomy street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most fliendly and warm hostels I’ve ever been to before,the place is very clean,you get towel and proper clean bedding for yourself,and the view is just amazing ?You’ve got a kitchen of the hostel right in the bar,where is an enormous windows towards the principal street,making it just amazing.
