ABOUT US De Witte Aap is the beating heart of Witte De Withstraat, the Rotterdam art area. The doors here open seven days a week at three in the afternoon and only close again in the late hours. In 2009, De Witte Aap was named best bar in the world by Lonely Planet. You have to go here if you are in Rotterdam!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is good crowd at this bar, but nothing stood out when we visited. Good place to hang out with friends and have a beer. They don't take credit cards, only cash and PIN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard it was a famous bar... they were actually filming when I was there. It’s just a normal bar in my opinion. Nothing fancy, the bathrooms smelt incredibly clean when I went in. I was also there on a Tuesday afternoon, but I would definitely come again on the weekend.
