Now I have a pixie cut with a touch of gabber-techno raver shave I didn't ask for. Just, expensive, unprofessional, pretentious and ridiculous treatment. Stay away from it. Better not let them do the job.
S	Stephanie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not recommended: unprofessional and inexperienced I went there twice now, to have color, highlights and cut. The first time the color+highlights came out very nicely, and I had given a lot of instructions on the cut. Not only did they not remember the color from last time, but they also scheduled me such there would not be enough time to do both color and highlights - however, they only informed me of this _after_ they had already applied the color to my hair. Given they did _some_ highlights I suppose doing the same as last time may have meant a maximum of 10 extra minutes of time for them, but that was clearly enough to make me come back some other time. The people who put on my color and hair seemed so unsure, I am not entirely confident they had ever done this before. My hair is now in some bizarre in between place as I already had color and highlights in the past - since I work I now have to wait a week to have it fixed. What's even worse though is that they remembered nothing about what I had told them about the cut, and subsequently also screwed this up. So now I need to wait a month or two to be back to my normal look of hair. In short: Just stay away - very far away - from this place.
M	Manjari J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Young staff in a vibrant environment. The guy who cut my hair called me fat with a sassy candor that is passable only on a gay man. He is good at his job though - he asked for my input, gave me good suggestions when I asked for it and gave a me a nice haircut.

The first round of bleach and dyeing gave a really weird pink/red shade and completely off from what I had asked for. The bleach didnt make the correct shade, and it wasnt a surprise that the color didnt come out right. It was nice of the stylist to notice the mistake and I was asked to come back a few days later. There was another coat of purple applied, alas it was still not the exact color i wanted but purple with a whole lot of red tint in it. It's been a month now, and now my hair is just red. I paid a loooot of money for it, and i am probably never coming back.

A	Alex In Wonderland on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a haircut and brought a picture of a very specific hairstyle. I'm not a professional so I can't say much about technique but on several occasions it just felt like my hair was being hacked at with scissors without proper sectioning. At some point during the cut I had to instruct the stylist and refer back to the picture because the cut was going in a different direction than I wanted, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but does imply that the vision the stylist had was different from what I had shown. Overall it felt a bit rushed and I didn't quite feel listened to. I initially left the salon happy, feeling like the haircut came together in the end, but several days later I discovered how uneven the cut was. The layers on the right side of my hair are much shorter than on the left, the left side is also bulkier and has sections that just look untouched. I came in with long hair with no layers so there's absolutely no reason for my hair to be this uneven. I spent a long time growing my hair out before making the decision to come to this salon, but it seems like I'll have to grow it out again so I can have it fixed at a different salon. Definitely the last time I'll be visiting this salon and any other Kinki salons for that matter.
