horrible customer service, the vets on staff do not know what they are doing. my puppies got sick in there "hotel" after flight was delayed by a day, staff called me told me they were checked for sickness, and were not going to die. all 3 puppies died 12 hours after landing. please use another airline. as these people do not take responsibility and are not accountable. i had another situation with this hotel where they accused me of forging birth certificates and send the puppies back as per their dentist. this company is unprofessional and staff is incompetent.

For all cat owners who has to fly their cats in the hold!! Due to lack of information we were very worried about our young kitty having 10h flight with a layover in AMS (5h), as most of info is given about dogs. I got my kitty at final destination in a large kennel as KLM considered mine to be too small and replaced it in transit, the kitty was clean and (relatively as per flight) happy. kennel had explanation of why it was changed, and when baby cat was offered food and water last time. All my notes from old kennel I put at our departure airport was carefully transferred to the new kennel. Babies blanket and my t-shirt which was in the kennel was placed in a new kennel for kitties comfort. I had issues locating my pet at the airport and after 1 hour after landing we found her being prepared to go to the pet hotel (advise to people with their pet in the hold - you will be helped at help desks at T6 area), which was a bit upsetting as she was who knows where in mid of Jan for an hour (hopefully she was not stuck outside), but overall we are happy. Once got to her hew home kitty used her litter box and had some food, which is good indication of smooth travel (stressed cat would never eat on a new place). Very pleased with pet hotel staff job, kitty's first fly in the hold went good. As per previous comments about sickness after the hotel - just an advise for owners, make sure to complete all vaccination for your pets, not only important for travelling (rabies). Safety of your pets is your responsibility, most of deadly infections in pets can be prevented if you keep their vaccination up to date, especially if they are contacting with other animals (we all know what the kennel cough is, so why not vaccinate your friends?). Talk to your vet at least month before travel and inform them about how your pet is going to travel (in the hold, as cargo, or in the cabin?) and seek professional advice on how to make the travel safe and stress-free for you, and for your pet. You may want to complete all vaccination. worm and flea treatment to make sure your animal is well-protected on their way
